Eggless Whole Wheat Choco Chip Cookies

Soft, chewy cookies with whole wheat flour. No eggs, no maida. Ready in 30 mins!

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour 
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour - optional, for softer texture
  • ½ cup powdered sugar 
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted 
  • ½ tsp baking soda 
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence 
  • ¼ cup buttermilk 
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1.  Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Line baking tray with parchment.
  2.  Mix dry: In a bowl, whisk whole wheat flour + baking soda + 1 tsp sugar.
  3.  Mix wet: Melt butter. Add remaining sugar + vanilla + buttermilk. Whisk smooth.
  4.  Combine: Pour wet into dry. Fold gently. Don’t overmix.
  5.  Add chocolate chips. Dough will be slightly sticky - that’s ok.
  6.  Scoop 1 tbsp dough on tray, 2-inch gap. Bake 12-15 mins till edges golden.
  7.  Cool 10 mins on tray. They harden as they cool. Store airtight 7 days.

Note: Don’t overbake or cookies will turn hard. Store in airtight box 7 days.
