Eggless Karachi Fruit Cookies

Ingredients
All purpose flour............... 1 cup
Butter.................................. 1/2 cup
Icing Sugar......................... 1/2 cup
Tutti Frutty............................ 1/4 cup
Baking powder..................... 1/2 tsp
Pineapple essence.............. 1/2 tsp
Custard Powder.................. 1/4 cup
(Vanilla flavour Custard Powder)
Chopped cashews................ 1/8 cup
Salt....1/8 tsp
Butter.................................. 1/2 cup
Icing Sugar......................... 1/2 cup
Tutti Frutty............................ 1/4 cup
Baking powder..................... 1/2 tsp
Pineapple essence.............. 1/2 tsp
Custard Powder.................. 1/4 cup
(Vanilla flavour Custard Powder)
Chopped cashews................ 1/8 cup
Salt....1/8 tsp
Method
- Sieve Custard Powder, baking powder, salt and all purpose flour together.
- Add chopped cashews and Tutti Frutty, mix everything well and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl add butter, Icing Sugar, pineapple essence and half of the milk. Now beat well to make light and pluffy.
- Mix dry ingredients with 2 to 3 wedges with wet ingredients. And with the help of hands make a dough. You don't have to need a dough a lot. Mix everything together.
- If you are unable to bind dough, you may have to add 1 or 2 tsp of milk as needed.
- Dough looks ready. Now make a part into 2 and roll and wrap. Keep it in freez for 1hr to set.
- Before you proceed, preheat oven at 160 degree for 15 mins.
- Now unwrap log and cut cookies around 1/4 inch of thickness.
- You may want to use sharp knife for cutting cookies as they may break while cutting.
- Place cookies in Baking tray which I have already lined with foil. Now Bake for 18 mins at 160 degree.
- Now remove the cookies, cool it in wire rack.
- Let them cool down completely.
- You can store it in airtight container, can be consumed upto a month.
- Perfect for tea time snacks
