Eggless Jeera/Cumin Cookies Recipe Videos
Ingredients
1 cup........... All purpose flour
1 tsp............. Salt
1 Tbsp.......... Jeera/Cumin seeds(roasted and crushed)
1/4 cup........... Confectionery Sugar(Icing Sugar)
1/2 cup.......... Butter
1 tsp............. Salt

Method
- For Jeera /Cumin Cookies we need to start with preheat oven at 150 degree.
- Take Cumin seeds in Baking tray, roast them in oven at 150 degree for about 4 to 5 mins.
- While Cumin seeds are getting roast, let's work on our wet ingredients.
- In a bowl take butter and sugar, cream it together until it dissolve in butter completely. And mixture comes puffy.
- It's very important to use butter in room temperature. Otherwise cookies will not come out nicely.
- It's been 4 mins in oven. Cumin seeds are roasted nicely. Crush them and keep aside.
- In a bowl set all purpose flour, add salt, 3/4 tsp of roasted Cumin seeds.
- Now mix dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- If you are using salted butter. Instead of 1stp use 1/2 tsp of salt.
- Using as form a dough as show in video.
- Cookies dough is ready.
- Make a log and wrap it in foil or cling film. Put it in freez for 10 to 15 mins.
- After 10 to 15 mins unwrap log and cut the slices into 1/2 inch distance.
- Now arrange the cookies in greased or cover with foil on tray with 1/2 inch distance.
- Cookies will expand in size.
- All of the cookies are ready. Now Bake them in preheated oven at 150 degree for 10 mins or until you notice edges of cookies start to golden brown.
- Take out the cookies.
- We are Baking cookies at lower temperature, so it becomes crispy.
- Let them cool completely for 30 to 40 mins.
- Cookies are cool down completely.
- Store these cookies in airtight container and enjoy them upto 2 weeks.
