Possibly the easiest and the most delicious form of icing is Butter Icing. Chocolate adds flavour and is no wonder a popular choice for basic cakes!
Ingredients
100 gms icing sugar
1 tsp cocoa powder
3/4 tbsp chocolate powder
50 gms butter or margarine
a few drops vanilla essence
Method
Sieve the icing sugar and cocoa powder and chocolate powder together and keep aside.
In a bowl, cream the soft butter or margarine using a wooden spoon till it is light and smooth.
Gradually, add the sieved icing sugar mixture and cream till all the icing sugar is added.Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
